Base pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hour. POSITION SUMMARY AND LOCATION The Business Development Interns will use the skills in their chosen field to help meet customer needs and satisfy business requirements. Assignments (some with strict deadlines to meet) will be commensurate with the student's academic background to take advantage of their expertise and provide real life application of their classroom knowledge. Offices are located in Hanover, MD. This is a hybrid-work position and applicant must be able to work in the Hanover, Maryland office at least two days a week. Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL Analyze market and competitor intelligence in the undersea defense domain. Conduct research related to defense matters on Capitol Hill. Draft briefing memorandum for Oceaneering executives. Provide administrative support for RFI/RFP responses and other proposal efforts. Track news articles and academic papers relating to defense, international affairs and undersea technologies. Act as brand ambassador for the organization both internally and externally. Qualifications REQUIRED Current enrollment in accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or related discipline. Good communication and organizational skills. U.S. Citizenship. Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the summer. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). DESIRED 3.0 cumulative GPA. Academic excellence and community involvement. Familiarity with tools related to area of expertise. Additional Information This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office.
