Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc. seeks an Offer & Project Quality Manager in Foxboro, MA.
Job Description: Design or plan protocols for processes to produce products meeting internal and external purity, safety, and quality requirements and to improve customer experience. Analyze validation test data to determine whether processes have met validation criteria and to identify root causes of production problems. Define annual quality targets and roadmap for offer in charge. Evaluate effectiveness of quality improvement activities and drive follow-up with factories. Work toward quality issues resolution and prevention using 8D and Lean 6 sigma. Perform risk analysis for non-conforming products or quality issues. Follow product surveillance test plan, schedule, and implementation in conjunction with Global Supply Chain. Regularly calculate and report key performance indicators; FFR, SQI, Backlog to corporate and local teams. Work to meet the yearly quality objectives and assess the achieved performance together with Global Supply Chain Quality and Industrialization teams. Challenge, suggest, and improve product and process change notices for efficient implementation to improve customer satisfaction. Evaluate and validate corrective and preventive actions implemented. Arrange for containment of defective material or products by initiating internal and external containment actions. Position eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in quality engineering, quality management, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Managing quality processes in a multi-disciplinary environment (Product, Supplier, Process); Improving quality processes using best-of-industry methodologies (Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma Blackbelt, I2P, 8D); Performing quality audits using Lead Auditor standards and methodologies; Gathering requirements using customer surveys and feed-back; Testing manufacturing quality and field performance; and Optimizing manufacturing and industrialization processes.
