Horticulturist TechnicianAttention all horticulture enthusiasts!Foliage Design Systems is looking for a skilled and passionate horticulturist to join our Interior Maintenance team. If you have a green thumb and a love for all things flora, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a full-time technician to maintain interior plants on client premises in the greater Orlando area. The routes are different each day - some routes consist of fifteen smaller accounts and other routes could be one building/campus. A love of plants, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and good time management are a must. Associates degree or working knowledge and experience in Horticulture preferred.
The position offers a flexible schedule and relies on your ability to work independently. You get to meet a lot of people, visit interesting places, and enjoy the rewards of nurturing living things. Uniform and tools are provided.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job: - The employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time. Occasionally required to work on ledges with exposure to heights.
- Must be able to hand-carry buckets of water weighing 20-25 pounds frequently on a daily basis.
- The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Varied field environment performing outdoor work with moderate to occasional loud noise.
- Must have clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle to navigate stops on route (mileage is reimbursed).
