Scope: Responsible for execution strategy and success of the new customer introduction and delivery for Energy Vertical. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and operational/ delivery expertise to ensure speed of response to customer needs, building right proposals, setup energetic teams and deliver quality output to customer.
Should partner with the Client Partner (CP) of the vertical to create an effective strategy in order to map and exceed customer expectations with service delivery.
Demonstrated expertise in Project / Program management skills preferably in Wind Energy and other industrial verticals. Handling global teams in multiple Geographical locations with Transnational / Transitional / Transformational Leadership qualities. Exposure to sales and customer relationship management. Inspires confidence and becomes trusted partner/advisor to key customer contacts. Working closely with Senior Sales leaders. Strong communication and people skills.
Work Experience Roles & Responsibilities:- Responsible for the financial (revenue, cost and margin), process, team performance and resource
- Demonstrated expertise in Project / Program management.
- Need to connect actively with customers for new business development.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 40-50 engineers
- Responsible for timely delivery and quality of deliverable for the team.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects, create proposals, and support the account growth by supporting the sales team
- Understand customer products In & Out, by studying their products spec, multiple documentation etc.
- As trusted thinking partner, Pitch in customer challenges or pain areas and help them with Quest Global proficiency
- Connect our internal stakeholders (Multiple Departments) for right or on time solution, when there is dependency to meet customer needs.
- Monitoring customer business (New products or Digital migration etc.) & support with our expertise
- Project and program health, Sales campaigns, delivery led growth, relationship management (MRM, QRM).
- Acquisition of new projects and purchase orders
- Operational metrics, issues/escalations, succession planning, VBU and culture initiatives
Required Skills (Technical Competency):- Preferably from Wind Energy & Electrical Engineering domain.
- Experience in, or exposure to Power Systems Engineering, Power Distribution , Grid Technology & Engineering Grid Compliance study.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven program management and financial management experience as Program Manager or similar role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large teams and complex projects
- Based on customer requirements able to scope the work.
- Can be able to coordinate with various teams and outsource the work.
- Help answer team members technical questions. Standard work - creation and maintenance.
Education:Bachelor's degree or higher degree in electrical engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Good to have skills:- PMP certification (PMI-PMP)
- Masters in business administration or equivalent.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
