As an Environmental Engineer for John Deere Turf Care located in Fuquay, NC, you will:

Provide technical and process support to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
Directly responsible for the environmental compliance programs for the facility (Air, Water, Waste, Chemical Reporting, and others).
Collect, analyze, and report environmental data related to compliance and sustainability for the facility.
Directly responsible for the facility ISO 14001:2015 certification requirements.
Respond to and mitigate emergency situations at the facility inside or outside of normal business hours.

What Skills You Need

Experience managing environmental compliance at the site level
An effective communicator with the ability to communicate to factory leadership and hourly workforce
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out

Experience creating and/or updating environmental plans, permits and standard operating procedures
Experience working in a manufacturing setting
Experience working with environmental management systems and ISO 14001:2015 certification

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field
