Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Manager of Key Accounts, Agribusiness, and Energy Management in Sierra Vista or Willcox, AZ. This position is responsible for Key Accounts and business development programs through member communication, contract development and contract administration. The Key Account Manager performs a risk mitigation function for the Cooperative by retaining existing load, improving member satisfaction, attracting new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) load, and rate contract management. Responsible for all commercial marketing programs. Serves as spokesperson for SSVEC on routine matters and researches and develops new commercial products and services.
The essential functions listed below are general examples and not a description of comprehensive duties.
- Manages the Sun Watts program which includes annual program development for ACC approval, $4.5+ million annual budget, ACC reporting, approving monthly reports, supervision of the C&I and Residential Energy Management Specialist and PV system reviews.
- Develops large scale projects that fit into the scope of the EPS program as directed by the ACC.
- Manages the Deman Side Management (DMS)/Energy Efficiency Program.
- Supervises the C&I and Residential Energy Management Specialist and Part-time Residential Energy Auditors.
- Reviews and approves commercial energy audits and commercial high bill investigations performed by the Energy Management Specialists for C&I accounts.
- Performs and/or supervises all Key Account energy audits and high bill investigations.
- Completes field investigations as necessary and utilizes the assistance of external vendors, engineers, electricians, etc., in analyzing and recommending solutions for lighting, wiring and equipment.
- Serves as spokesperson for SSVEC on routine informational matters, or as needed. Promotes goodwill through such publicity efforts as speeches, exhibits, films, tours, and question/answer sessions.
Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience in residential, C&I energy auditing, energy usage, high usage resolution, and member service and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in making presentations and providing information to trade and public groups is required.
- Training in public relations is desired.
- Must be willing to work toward or have NRECA's Certified Key Account Executive certificate.
