Test Development Manager
SUMMARY:
An experienced Production Test Development Manager is needed to lead a US-based test development team in the Power Management division. This leadership role is key to ensuring the integrity and performance of innovative Power Management ICs, supporting a wide range of applications including Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial sectors. The role requires a leader who can expertly navigate the complexities of Power Management IC production testing while effectively collaborating across design and test engineering teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the test development team for Power Management ICs in the US
- Develop and enforce test strategies to ensure product reliability and performance
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and Asia to support product development and production
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality test solutions that meet production schedules
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills
- Optimize test processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in test engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (or greater) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Expertise in automated test design, development, and maintenance
- Proficiency with software development and debugging on ATE systems (Cohu DMDx, Teradyne ETS88, or Sinetest STT)
- Experience with schematic design for socketed test fixtures, probe cards, and load boards
- Knowledge of Power Management ICs including Buck, Boost, LDO, and Microcontroller Units
- Familiarity with I2C and SPI serial communication protocols
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
