About The Role:
The purpose of this role is to develop, implement and manage Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs across the office portfolio of an important client account in accordance with jurisdictional, company and client requirements relative to the Americas Property Management business.
This position will be based out of the New York or DC area and in-office 3-4 days a week.
What You'll Do:
• Establish the Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy and program for an important client account including regional aims, objectives, and targets, in alignment with the client's HSE Lead and CBRE's Head of HSE and HSE Director, Property Management.
• Oversee delivery of the HSE strategy and program in line with relevant jurisdictional, CBRE, client and other requirements.
• Drive a culture of safety across client account.
• Complete Risk Profiles for client account and communicate across the account/CBRE.
• Develop and maintain the regional training strategy to achieve the necessary HSE competency standards.
• Undertake audits and inspections in support of the client account HSE program to monitor HSE performance against management system requirements, aims, objectives and targets (including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 where applicable).
• Support operational teams with accident and incident management, including leading investigation processes, identification of root causes, implementation of corrective actions and sharing of lessons learned.
• Manage the implementation of relevant HSE related technology applications and solutions, including change management, training, and reporting processes where applicable.
• Undertake HSE Contract Reviews (i.e. service agreements, management agreements etc) as required.
• Produce and present high-level reports detailing HSE performance at the regional and account level, for analysis by leadership and operational teams.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert to provide direct timely counsel, information, and feedback to the account leadership team in matters pertaining to HSE, compliance, trends, performance, and concerns.
• Engage proactively with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) regarding jurisdictional, CBRE and client HSE requirements.
• Collaborate with other HSE Subject Matter Experts across CBRE, to share standard process and drive common initiatives and programs as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years working as a Health, Safety, and Environmental professional.
Professional certification in Health, Safety, and Environmental (e.g. CSP, CIH, CHMM, CRSP, CMIOSH, MIEMA, CEnv etc.).
Experience operating in portfolio-wide roles across the Americas preferable.
Experience working in property industry preferable.
Experience of working with Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 45003) preferable.
Role Requirements
Incumbents may be required to travel, on occasion, with overnight stays required from time to time.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Health, Safety, Environmental Senior Manager position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Health, Safety, Environmental Senior Manager position is $210,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
