Project or Senior Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our team. This is an opportunity to work on impactful projects in stormwater design, environmental remediation, and site development, all while being part of a supportive group of professionals who truly enjoy what they do.
We're seeking someone with a knack for problem-solving and an interest in land use development, industrial site cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment. As our Project/Senior Engineer, you will...play a pivotal role in shaping and executing projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed engineering designs, managing permits and specifications, and overseeing construction activities such as quality control, contractor coordination, and field work. You'll prepare reports and proposals, lead project teams, and build strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies. Whether you're managing projects independently or supporting larger initiatives, you'll thrive in this role by balancing technical expertise, strategic planning, and collaboration with a talented group of colleagues. Mentoring junior staff, reviewing work, and ensuring high-quality project delivery will also be key components of your role, allowing you to contribute to both the success of your projects and the growth of our team.
To thrive in this role, you must have...- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and a PE certification (or ability to obtain licensure by comity in WA within 3 months, OR and ID thereafter).
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in stormwater design, environmental remediation, and site development. Familiarity with tools like Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Proven ability to manage projects, mentor team members, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in engineering design, permitting, and construction management.
What Sets You Apart- Industrial stormwater design, utility design, or grading plans experience.
- Hands-on experience in construction, construction oversight, or construction management.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with current refresher.
- Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to mentor and lead teams.

Compensation Range:
$88,000 to $150,000Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
