Position Overview:

The Seasonal Gardener/Horticulture Technician position assists in taking care of all non-golf areas of the property as a part of the Horticulture team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and team-oriented work environment at one of the top golf courses in the nation. This is a seasonal position available approximately May through August, with the potential for a longer duration, but not guaranteed. Full-time hours are available during the week and can include some weekend and holiday dates, with 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM shifts during peak season. Potential for flexible scheduling, but not guaranteed. Second year, returning Seasonal employees are eligible to apply for a scholarship to a qualified institution.

Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include planting annual and perennial flowers, planting shrubs and small trees, pruning, watering, fertilizing, weeding, and assisting with golf course clean up when needed.

Requirements

Gardening experience is preferred, but not required.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willing to work hard in a beautiful outdoor setting.
You must have dependable transportation,
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
Ability to be on your feet most of the day.
