Position Highlights:

As a Fitness Specialist with AgeSTRONG, you will be leading group fitness classes to help clients live the best rest of their lives.

Responsibilities:

Lead dynamic group fitness classes in the area of Aquatics
Provide group classes to enhance the cognitive, physical, and mental health of clients throughout their aging journey.
Create and deliver engaging, safe, and effective workouts for participants of varying fitness and ability levels.
Provide motivation, encouragement, and support to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Be a Champion of the Journey by maximizing function and well-being for clients, families, co-workers, and self

Qualifications

An active certification from a NCCA accredited program for Group Fitness and/or active certification specific to the specialty group class you will be teaching.
Active CPR/AED certification via a live assessment is required.
Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
Strives to positively represent AgeSTRONG in the community.

Salary Range: $45 - $65/hr

Wage ranges listed take into consideration candidate's professional experience, location of the position, and status of the position.
