Gonzales Healthcare Systems has an opening for the position of Environmental Services (EVS) Manager. Full-time exempt position with competitive salary and benefits.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Guidelines. The EVS Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the EVS/Linen departments, ensuring a consistently high level of cleanliness and appearance to patients, visitors and staff via managing and directing EVS staff, budgets, equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:

Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the EVS Department, its programs and activities.
Ensures the facility remains in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance.
Reviews the department's policies and procedures manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually for revisions and makes recommendations to Direct Supervisor.
Prepares operating and staffing budgets for EVS and monitors monthly.
Supervise and support the EVS Department staff to ensure exceptional cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.
Plan, coordinate and assign work schedules, ensuring all areas are covered and tasks are completed efficiently.
Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings to enhance team collaboration and performance.
Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures related to EVS, updating them as necessary.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.

Supervisory abilities and effective oral and written communication.

No Licensure required
