LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 245 days

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in managing multiple contractors simultaneously required.
A high school diploma, and at least 5 years of experience working in the Environmental Services fields of IEQ, Grounds Mgmt, or Pest Control.
Must have or be able to obtain a Class 3 Pesticide license within 1 year of hire.
Must have or be able to obtain acceptable IEQ certification in concert with District Approval.
Pond Manager Certification preferred.
Experience in maintaining K12 schools desired.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Facilities and school board find appropriate and acceptable.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Director of Facilities Services

SALARY: Commensurate with experience (DS Scale)

JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure that all educational and related district facilities are maintained in a manner consistent with the highest standards of efficiency, safety, economy and quality.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates remediation of IAQ issues with third party IAQ testing and remediation contractors.
Manage the districts Landscaping and Grounds Contract, to include the in-house grounds staff.
Monthly campus inspections of Grounds and storm water systems.
Develop, implement, and manage the districts Pest Control Program (internal and external)
Coordinate Flooring projects throughout the district, to include full scale replacement, repairs, etc. This will include both resilient, carpet, and sports floors.
Coordinates annual inspections required by building codes, NFPA, OSF, LLR and other public agencies.
Coordinates with governmental agencies having jurisdiction over or providing services to school buildings.
Communicate with various stakeholders throughout the district and community.
Maintains necessary records and prepares periodic reports.
Performs all other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Facilities Services.
