The Municipal & Community Services Department is looking to hire a Solid Waste & Recycling Loader. If you would like to be a part of the City's most recognized team, a team that helps maintain our beautiful city, we would like to hear from you.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

Rides on the back of the packer truck, picking up bags of solid waste in residential areas and loads or throws the bags into the packer truck.
Unloads the packer truck at the sanitary landfill by operating hydraulic controls.
Assists with maintenance of the packer truck including pre- and post-trip inspections, cleaning behind the packer blade and body of the truck, lubricating the rear tracks, and maintaining overall truck cleanliness on a daily basis.
Assists the driver and other crew members in ensuring the safe operation of the packer truck.
Maintains a courteous and professional image with co-workers and with our community.
