The Supply Chain Sustainability Lead is responsible for executing the supplier engagement strategy to support the client's Net Zero Transition Plan. This role involves engaging with suppliers to drive sustainability initiatives, monitoring and tracking their progress, and addressing non-compliance through governance processes. Additionally, the role will contribute to the development of supplier strategies that align with the organisation's sustainability goals.
Specific Accountabilities
Supplier Engagement - Implement supplier engagement strategies to ensure alignment with the Net Zero Transition Plan, actively collaborating with identified suppliers to promote sustainable practices.
Progress Monitoring - Track and monitor the engagement and performance of suppliers, ensuring progress is documented and aligned with organisational targets.
Governance Process Management - Lead governance processes to address and resolve non-compliance issues among suppliers, ensuring accountability and adherence to sustainability standards.
Supplier Strategy Development - Develop and refine supplier sustainability strategies to meet evolving organisational and environmental goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support supplier sustainability initiatives and ensure seamless integration into broader ESG efforts
