THE JOB: As an Environmental Services Shift Manager, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your dedication to provide top-notch experiences for guests will set the stage for the memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. By ensuring efficient daily operations, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Provide direction and support to staff, and Shift Supervisors to achieve the highest cleanliness standards in the Casino, Public Areas, Offices and other required areas
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness by conducting consistent inspections of all public areas, offices, back-of-the-house, and Casino
- Working knowledge and understanding of scheduling and labor management
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to provide effective training, coaching, and leadership
- Communicate policies and procedures, and ensure compliance
- Assist with various leadership functions to include hiring, coaching, discipline, training, terminations, ordering and payroll
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: - Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must currently hold a valid Nevada Driver's License
- Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in hospitality, business management, or leadership)
- Has prior experience in an EVS leadership role overseeing general cleanliness
- Has prior experience overseeing, and providing direction to a leadership team
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
- Has the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Is proficient in the utilization of Hotsos, and Microsoft office
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Bilingual
