Description Under the guidance of the recreation facilities supervisor and assistant manager, aquatic park employees will provide customer service in various locations including guest services, concessions and slide towers, and perform general aquatic park maintenance tasks.
Examples of Duties - Provide customer service in all areas of the aquatic park.
- Process transactions using a register.
- Prepare various food items in the concessions stand.
- Supervise riders on the waterslides.
- Perform related duties as required such as cleaning, organizing, and other maintenance tasks.
- Help out with tasks in other departments as needed.
- Maintain positive public relations, and enthusiastically support the New Hope Parks and Recreation Department.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - General knowledge of aquatic facilities.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Education and Experience - The candidate must be at least 15 years of age.
- Ability to follow written and oral direction.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Physical RequirementsThis work requires the occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, frequently requires speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions and occasionally requires standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling and lifting; work requires close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception and color perception; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; working in high, precarious places and exposure to outdoor weather conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location.
