Job Summary:
Support resource for the purpose of executing sustainability projects. Scope of work may include industry research, partner relationships, program management, licensee support and events coordination, and stakeholder communication.
The Manager, Sustainability is responsible for supporting the execution of 7-Eleven International's sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering sustainable practices across all operations. This role engages with internal and external stakeholders, supports global initiatives, and drives continuous improvement to promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organization and its licensee network.
Main Responsibilities:- Global Philanthropy and Best Practices
- Support the execution of the 7IN global philanthropy program through licensee and external partnerships, program performance management, and continuous improvement of program design.
- Identify and share successful sustainability practices and initiatives from global operators with licensees to promote effective implementation.
- Training and Awareness
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance sustainability awareness and capabilities among 7-Eleven International team members and licensees.
- Drive stakeholder and consumer awareness of 7-Eleven's global sustainability initiatives.
- Collaboration and Culture Building
- Collaborate across all lines of business to foster a culture of sustainability and embed sustainable practices within the organization.
- Lead sustainability-related volunteer and engagement activities in partnership with Engagement Ambassadors in Dallas and Tokyo offices.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate relationships with government agencies, non-profits, and industry partners to guide sustainability actions and accelerate progress on key initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide consulting support to licensees and facilitate engagement through forums such as Communities of Practice and Licensee Summits.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and report sustainability performance using KPIs and internal calibration methodologies.
- Monitor progress, analyze data, and recommend improvements to enhance the impact of sustainability initiatives.
- Industry Engagement and Trends
- Engage with external sustainability experts, regulatory bodies, and advocacy groups to stay informed on industry trends and regulations.
- Develop and deliver presentations and executive-level updates on sustainability projects and initiatives.
Job Requirements:- Education: B.A. Business Administration, Corporate Social Responsibility, or Sustainability
- Work Experience: 2+ years in Corporate Social Responsibility or Environmental Compliance and Communications fields
- Language Skills: English proficiency
- Travel Requirements: 25%
