This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.
Location: NorCal Reports to: Vice President of Solar Operations
Travel: Hybrid (home) office and field role (largely NorCal, some Central/SoCal).

Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Project Manager (PM) to drive and manage our retrofit multifamily housing / commercial solar projects throughout California. Project sizes will range in size from 20kW - 1MW. Working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, the PM will be responsible for managing the projects from internal project award to commissioning and permission to operate.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers and other relevant trade partners as the main point of contact during the project
• Own and drive all multi-family and commercial projects
• Create and drive project schedule and deliverables
• Oversee design and engineering of projects
• Manage and coordinate permits with permitting coordinator
• Manage utility applications
• Coordinate procurement of materials with purchasing manager
• Coordinate and provide direction to field crews
• Manage and coordinate invoicing
• Assist project developers with budgeting, bidding, designing, and contracting projects Skills:
• Good record keeping and organizational skills
• Ability to drive projects forward and overcome obstacles
• Estimating/budgeting experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Computer: Microsoft programs, Helioscope, Google Drive

Requirements
• 3+ years construction and commercial solar experience
• 2+ years of project management or construction operations experience
• Solid understanding of the commercial and new construction project cycle
• Knowledge of residential and commercial building code
• Knowledge of multi-family PV systems and VNEM (Virtual Net Metering)
• Knowledge of commercial solar equipment and solutions: panels, racking, inverters, and batteries
• Knowledge of all system types: tilt and flat roof mount, ground mount, carports
• Knowledge of electrical code
• Knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems
Salary Description
$90,000 - $110,000/yr
