As an Associate Manager of Recycling, you will lead a team overseeing non-regulated waste operations, driving sustainability initiatives, and optimizing recycling processes. You will collaborate cross-functionally with site stakeholders to maximize diversion, revenue, and operational efficiency while minimizing waste.
Responsibilities - Build and develop a high-performing recycling team to exceed operational targets
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability through communication and action
- Strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders to drive sustainability goals
- Ensure teams receive comprehensive training and workforce development opportunities
- Support continuous improvement through root cause analysis and process optimization
- Develop and maintain standardized work practices across shifts and areas
- Manage vendor relationships to optimize recycling operations
Requirements - 5+ years of experience leading teams in high-volume manufacturing, Gigafactory experience preferred
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to analyze and improve operational metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, cost)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
