JOB TITLE: SOLAR ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIP - SUMMER

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized intern to join our team in one of today's fastest growing industries. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position in Barrington, IL.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:- Support in data entry, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Conduct research and provide support in financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned by the accounting team.
- Compliance and record keeping.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Basic knowledge of general accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to visit and work within an active construction site.
