Description
We are seeking a Residential Solar Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of residential solar projects from contract signature through completion. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual with experience in scheduling, permitting, and interconnection processes in the solar or construction industry. This will be a hybrid position and will be in office Monday-Thursday and remote on Friday.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, monitor, and coordinate projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate site surveys to collect accurate data.
• Review and approve layout designs in collaboration with the design team.
• Submit and track permits and interconnection agreements with relevant authorities.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and optimize operations.
• Support project execution to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
• Assist the team with projects as needed.
• Utilize Hubstaff workforce management platform when working remotely.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
✔ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
✔ Experience with scheduling, permitting, and interconnection processes in the solar or construction industry.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Proficiency in workforce management software and project tracking tools.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Familiarity with solar PV system design, permitting, and interconnection processes.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to solar construction.
