They establish strategic goals in how to integrate the clinical services and patient care operations, for Children’s Services within UCSF Health. They are accountable for overall financial and operational performance. They are responsible for facility management projects to renovate or create new spaces to accommodate clinical and patient needs. They collaborate with campus, health sciences to develop and deliver services. They collaborate and communicate with medical directors and the SVP of Children’s Services Health/President UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals to ensure that patient services are met. Implements standards for clinical practices and policies that drive financial and operational performance. Consults with the President of Adult Services and other Business Unit Presidents, UCSF Health SVP COO, UCSF EVP Chief Clinical Officer, CMOs, etc. on clinical and administrative problems affecting patient care. Responsible for assisting hospitals in resolving problems and questions of policy as they relate to the staff and patient care.
