The Opportunity: The
Environmental Compliance Manager collaborates with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to environmental laws, maintain accurate documentation, and support sustainability initiatives. The role requires proactive problem-solving, strong regulatory knowledge, and effective communication to drive environmental responsibility across all projects.
Responsibilities: - Ensure Parkland USA's compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement environmental policies and programs to promote sustainability.
- Conduct environmental audits and assessments of facilities and projects.
- Provide training and support on environmental issues to staff and contractors.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Monitor environmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with other departments to integrate environmental considerations into planning and operations.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct environmental audits and assessments.
- Proficiency in environmental management systems and software.
