RDG is looking for an experienced landscape architect to take on a leadership role in our new Madison office. Essential Job Functions- Engage in the local community to help make meaningful client and recruitment connections
- Serve as a resource for our Madison office, helping to grow RDG's brand and market share locally
- Collaboration with multiple disciplines, clients and other RDG offices
- Serve as mentor and resource for internal team members
- Project management for local or regional projects
- Site analysis that considers the broad economic, social, ecological, and aesthetic considerations of a place
Requirements
- Possess strong leadership, written and verbal skills to instill confidence and trust in our clients and team
- Critical thinking collaborator with excellent soft skills, relationship and executing strengths
- Ability to market the RDG services and secure new client relationships
- Demonstrated history of building long-term relationships with team members and clients
- Able to develop successful strategies for helping to complete work on time and budget
Education & Experience- 15 years+ of professional work experience with a background in landscape architecture and urban planning
- Landscape architecture licensure certification or the ability to acquire certification and licensure in Wisconsin is required
- Construction detailing, materials and construction administration field experience
- Past project management experience in planning and developing projects from the conceptual design phase through construction documentation
