Job DescriptionTo be fully engaged in providing Quality/ No Harm, Customer Experiences, and Stewardship by: providing superior quality, competitive value and outstanding service by creating, leading and instructing members through safe and effective aquatic group exercise classes. Instructors are expected to demonstrate knowledge of basic anatomy and kinesiology, class structure, music utilization and proper cuing techniques.
Primary Accountabilities
- Provide safe and effective classes consistent with class descriptions.
- Modify class content to accommodate various ability levels and pool temperature levels.
- Develop music/tapes to appropriate class population.
- Arrange for substitute instructors and notify coordinator of arrangements. (Required for every class)
Qualifications: - Must maintain certification by a nationally recognized organization (AEA, Arthritis Foundation, WaterArt, NMSS)
- Must hold current AHA Heartsaver CPR and AED Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain
