Landscape Architect Project Manager to join our Landscape Architecture team, in our
Raleigh, NC office, to work on a variety of projects for clients across the southeastern United States. Our landscape architecture team provides comprehensive service to our clients from the conceptual stage through construction administration frequently serving as the design lead for site design. Typical projects involve site design for parks and recreation, multi-family, mixed-use, life science, commercial and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities- Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies. May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting.
- Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Use Permit applications.
- Site design including grading design, storm water management systems design, landscaping, and erosion and sediment control design, using Civil 3D.
- Responsible for client relationship management, leading multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff.
- Establish milestones, monitor financial health, and ensure delivery of successful projects.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, client communication, budget oversight and responsibility, construction document preparation, opinion of probable construction cost, and quality control/quality assurance to deliver a quality design product.
- Collaborate with the team to encourage and foster a culture of design amongst the LA staff.
- Preparation and coordination of diagrams, renderings, construction documents, and conceptual graphics adhering to Dewberry's quality standards.
- Preparation of all associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Attend outside events to represent the Dewberry Landscape Architecture Team in our community.
Required Skills & Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning.
- 4-6 years of experience in landscape architecture and/or planning.
- RLA licensure preferred.
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, Lumion, GIS/ArcView and Power Point.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview.
