Step into Your New Role
The Hamilton (Trenton) NJ office has an immediate opening for a position at their Linden, NJ project for an Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineer, or Geologist with 0 to 2 years of experience to work on environmental assessment and remediation projects. Part of a highly experienced team that enjoys mentoring and training new staff.
Job Description:
- Initial job duty will be to collect field data (ground water, soil, sediment, surface water)
- Oversight of subcontractors once trained in the tasks being performed
- Field data evaluation
Required Skills:
- 4 year degree in environmental science, geology, or related engineering degree
- 0-2 years experience in the environmental field working on a large complex environmental assessment / remediation site.
- Ability to work on various task depending on skill sets (Ground water sampling, soil sampling, well install, project recovery, remedial system O&M, construction management, design, various remedial actions, ecological evaluations, data evaluation, and report writing)
- All new hire medical surveillance physical exams include a nine-panel, split specimen drug screen and a breath alcohol test. All drug and alcohol testing is conducted in accordance with Kleinfelder's Substance Abuse Policy. This position may be subject to client mandated random screenings.
- Staff must be clean shaven to insure satisfactory seal of a respirator
Preferred Skills:
- 40 hr OSHA
- TWIC
- GIS experience
- Microsoft Office Knowledge
