General Job Description ERP Project Manager IES Infrastructure Solutions Location : Massillon, OH Status : Salary // Exempt Reports To : IT Director Position Summar y This position is in a growing and dynamic environment. It is our goal to effectively support 1200 employees across 13 manufacturing and service locations throughout the US. Application design, selection, implementation, and support must be provided in a proactive fashion so that the organization can efficiently and fully utilize the technology that it embraces. The primary responsibility of the ERP Project Manager is to be the front line of support, development, and management for our two Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and their respective teams. This will include implementing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and developing (reports, code) to support our disparate team. Responsibilities Work with remote business units in the manufacturing and service sector to find opportunities for software-based solutions to enhance business insight, develop efficient processes, and allow our team to work more collaboratively. Create localized documentation that highlights best practices to be utilized by our staff in dynamic service models. Oversee the implementation, development, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL server relational database management systems (RDBMS) systems. Ability to work with internal and external teams to design and develop solutions and provide implementation and training of application enhancements or add-ons following a standard software development lifecycle (SDLC). Ability to provide Ad-hoc reports and support in a timely manner Respond to daily user requests and resolve or escalate issues in a responsive manner. Manage, plan, and implement multiple ERP based projects. Ability to work effectively with 3rd party support organizations / key suppliers to troubleshoot issues, order supplies and design solutions. Ensure that security measures are followed to provide a safe and secure technology environment. Required Qualifications Minimum of 7-10 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in a manufacturing or service industry. 3 to 5 years of strong practical experience with front end programming languages with a backend SQL server environment. 2 years of experience with Crystal report development. Must have strong background in formal project management Strong query building and analytical skills 3 years of SQL server Db development and administration experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively and productively in a team environment is a must. Scrupulous attention to detail Possess and maintain an excellent work ethic Maintain an enthusiastic and positive attitude Excellent customer service Will require occasional travel. During upgrades or system failures, expect required weekend or after-hours work. Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills. Optional Qualifications: Formal education, commensurate with experience. Knowledge of SOX regulatory requirements 2 years of development experience in MS Access Develop, maintain, test, document results and release updates of MS Access client and SQL server db. Experience with Sage 100 Advanced Experience with SharePoint Experience with remote monitoring, management tools, and helpdesk ticketing systems.
