Information Technology Internship Unique opportunity to learn and gain IT experience with a global organization that is Great Place to Work certified Job Summary: Avient is seeking a part-time student IT associate in Cleveland, Ohio to join the Corporate IT organization, which provides global solutions and services to enable Avient and its customers to reach world-class performance. This position focuses on projects involving the expanding portfolio of systems that Avient IT manages and leveraging new technology to support our mission of providing a highly reliable and cost effective infrastructure for a growing global company. In this position, you will establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamentals and be provided feedback from the program manager. This position is full-time and fixed-term and will work a 40 hour/week schedule with an expected end date of August 8, 2025. Avient IT Teams/Support: Enterprise Infrastructure Business Intelligence Enterprise Security Manufacturing Systems Financial Systems Global Procurement Systems Types of activities may include: • Assisting with building and maintaining the IT infrastructure • Recommending and implementing technical solutions in line with business requirements • Daily support of global business operations • Creating and enhancing technical documentation and reports • Programming enhancements and automation • troubleshooting to optimize system performance • Partnering globally with business associates Essential Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree at an accredited four-year institution, graduating in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026, with a demonstrated interest and aptitude for information technology • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above Preferred Qualifications • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Problem solving / decision-making / sound judgment • Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize tasks based on customer needs • Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures Competencies • Each position at Avient focuses on eight Core Competencies as a Leader of Self.
