OverviewTRC is seeking a
Project Manager for our growing Engineering, Construction & Remediation team in
Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and results-oriented leader who works with stakeholders to understand project needs and manages teams to deliver services to meet those requirements. The project manager is responsible for networking with clients to identify and define projects, developing and negotiating proposals, building teams of technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work, maintaining quality and risk management processes to keep work on track, and delivering according to scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities- Manage assessment, remediation, compliance, and due diligence projects under TCEQ, RRC, or other state/federal regulatory programs.
- Lead proposal efforts including completing project approach, scoping, and budgeting.
- Manage project risk by understanding and following risk management procedures.
- Create and execute project work plans and staffing plans and revise as needed.
- Assign individual responsibilities and project details to the project team.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal team members and clients.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project to meet scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop creative solutions to technical, scientific or project related management issues.
- Manage day-to-day client interaction and exceed client expectations.
- Facilitate regular status meetings with the project team and client.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Analyse and forecast project revenue, margins and profitability.
- Communicate relevant project information to management.
- Proficient implementation of TRC-s Health - Safety Program and Quality Management Plan.
Qualifications- B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental investigations, remediation, environmental compliance, due diligence, and other environmental matters.
- Demonstrated success in project management and client management.
- Ability to develop a positive relationship with our clients and employees.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations and Texas regulatory agencies (TCEQ and RRC).
- Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and/or renewable energy experience an asset.
- Professional licensure preferred but not required.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
