What an exciting time to join two great teams as they come together under one umbrella! Strategic Management Inc (SMI) the longest-operating glass recycler in the United States has been acquired by Sibelco Group, the longest-operating glass recycler in Europe. A primary initial responsibility will be executing the rebranding of SMI to Sibelco. In addition, the Corporate Communications Specialist for Sibelco Glass Recycling North America (GR NAM) plays a key role in developing and implementing both internal and external communication strategies to drive employee engagement, foster community connections, support change initiatives, and enhance Sibelco's reputation. This position advises employees and management on effective communication techniques, channels, and tools to align with the strategic goals of Sibelco GR NAM. With a strong focus on creative storytelling, the Corporate Communications Specialist contributes to organizational success by promoting our company culture and aligning communications with business objectives.
Responsibilities- Co-develops and implements communication initiatives targeting internal audiences at Sibelco Glass Recycling NAM, aligning with the objectives of internal teams and external partners (e.g., media) in accordance with Sibelco's overall Communication strategy.
- Crafts and distributes company information through a variety of channels and media, such as internal and external websites, posters, videos, etc.
- Advises Sibelco GR NAM leadership on the most effective communication channels for specific campaigns (both internal and external), tailoring strategies based on the needs of target audiences.
- Ensures adherence to communication, branding, and style guidelines across all Sibelco GR NAM employees.
- Monitors, measures, and reports on the effectiveness of communication efforts for GR NAM.
- Collaborates closely with the Global Communications team to maintain consistency and maximize content use across internal and external channels.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or related field
- 3 - 5 years
- Proficient in English, other languages are an asset
