Your Role Your role: As Technical Support Specialist / Expert, it will be your mission to represent the service division during the development of new competitor brands solve complex technical issues and you will ensure we understand our customer's needs and that we provide the equipment and services to support those needs. Key responsibilities include: Collect competitor service requirements for the main brands in your markets and create the master data needed in our quotation platforms (IQ² - MyDealer - MyEdmac) to offer our services like SP & FP. Be part of the Edmac family to safeguard that the needed spare parts for our competitor equipment are available for the different markets and safeguard the quality of these (Atlas Copco Group) parts. Work closely together with the ASDA team to setup the competitor equipment in the operational processes. Offering 3rd line technical support in solving complex technical issues at customer site. As such, your main point of contact will be the local support specialist who takes care of the 2nd line support. You may be required to go on-site if problems cannot be solved locally. Play an active role in the product development for competitor services to assure the highest level of serviceability by giving a strong involvement in the project team meetings (PTM and PCM) Develop and provide technical training, troubleshooting guidelines, video instructions, … in line with our divisional strategy. Collaboration with different departments (marketing, purchasing, engineering, production, ) To succeed, you will need To succeed, you will need: Educational: Bachelor / Master in engineering or equivalent through experience. Experience: Technical affinity is a must. Experience with competitor brands is an advantage. Software skills: MS Office, SharePoint, … Knowledge: You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, for collaboration in multinational teams. An additional language is considered a plus. Experience in compressed air installations or air treatment products is considered as a plus, but the will to learn is the most important. Personal: You are customer oriented and have a strong drive to solve issues as quickly as possible. A pragmatic approach to new challenges and the ability to rapidly switch tasks depending on priorities. Working as part of a team to find the best solution to a challenge. Driving your own work and willing to take on new projects and bigger tasks when the opportunity arises. You are eager to learn. Short trips abroad are not a problem for you.
