onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the External Strategic Sourcing team. As an important member of the external manufacturing sourcing team, you will have the opportunity to work with world-class semiconductor foundry/OSAT partners to negotiate contracts and secure our external manufacturing service needs. Significant emphasis will be placed on developing our outsourcing strategy, Supplier Relationship Management, and collaborating with manufacturing partners to drive value engineering and cost-saving roadmaps.
Responsibilities
Performance Objectives:
- Lead a dynamic, global external strategic sourcing team to manage external manufacturing suppliers
- Develop external manufacturing sourcing strategy with management team
- Drive all business aspects of product transfers from internal to external suppliers
- Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline supplier base
- Ensure supply continuity through long-term supply agreements
- Help develop and execute Supplier Relationship Management strategy
- Collaborate with BUs to align our technology roadmap with our external manufacturing partners to ensure long-term support and engagement
- Work with External Manufacturing team to establish supplier scorecard and conduct Supplier Business Reviews on a semi-annual basis for key suppliers
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and External Manufacturing to map our manufacturing flow through the supply chain
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in semiconductor industry working with foundries and/or OSAT
Preferred:
- Solid experience and proven results in leading pricing, contract, SOW, NRE negotiations
- Strategic thinking and experience in executing joint development projects
- Strong relationship-building skills, both with internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations on capacity and cost models
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $168,360 to $303,140 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
