Job Description:
The US Equipment Supply Chain Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of McDonald's Supply Chain through visionary leadership and innovative solutions that will improve the quality of restaurant kitchen equipment and equipment service. This position resides within the North America Supply Chain organization, supporting Global Supply Chain strategic objectives and the flawless execution of US business plans.
The Director will lead a team of four (4) responsible for coordinating the national deployment of new equipment, assuring equipment supply for new restaurants, improving equipment service capabilities, and evaluating the performance of equipment suppliers. A key aspect of this role involves standing up new equipment management capabilities, ensuring procurement best practices, establishing targets suppliers that drive accountability, and negotiating pricing contracts and service agreements with suppliers that generate value for the restaurants. This position will be responsible for setting team strategy, determining category priorities, and directing work plans for initiatives to achieve exceptional results.
Reporting to the US Supply Chain Operations Senior Director, the Director will collaborate with a diverse team of direct reports, as well as Global and National cross functional partners, including, Menu Management, Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Global Engineering, Finance, Safety, Marketing, Franchisees, and a network of Equipment and Parts Suppliers. This leadership role demands a strategic problem solver with a proven track record delivering positive business outcomes, who is passionate about developing future leaders, building strong team culture while demonstrating the ability navigate the complexities of a global supply chain and global brand.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive project pipelines to support US Business strategic initiatives, while setting team priorities.
- Execute Global Supply Chain Strategy to drive equipment advancements and strengthen supply resiliency through contingency readiness and proactive planning in the US Market.
- Leverage data and insights to drive US adoption of global solutions and serve as a thought partner to share local/national solutions that can be scaled globally.
- Lead complex negotiations, deal structuring, and supplier selection processes, providing expert judgment to improve value and mitigate risks for US equipment.
- Drive the effective deployment of procurement strategies and service agreements with suppliers, leveraging global partners to ensure compliance.
- Communicate progress toward achieving critical milestones to senior leadership, ensuring visibility and support for equipment initiatives.
- Develop diverse talent with the skills and capabilities to lead supply chain today and in the future.

The expected salary range for this role is $168,350 - $218,860/ per year

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management supply chain management, or related subject area is required.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, or commensurate project management or deployment experience in related functions with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Prior experience in a role with responsibility for team performance and development is required, showcasing strong people management skills and the ability to mentor and grow talent within the organization.
- Certifications related to project management, supply chain, or industry-specific expertise (e.g., CPSM, PMP) are beneficial and will be considered an asset in this role.
