Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial passion for renewable energy and a desire to work within a growing environment Minimum of 5 years’ experience Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or equivalent Strong knowledge of general ledger and warranty accounting processes Experience and/or understanding of revenue recognition methods under ASC 606 Self-starter with a proven track record of grit and determination to drive process improvement Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines in a fast-paced environment Self-starter that can implement a vision by working with cross-functional business partners to drive change Ensuring compliance with the company’s accounting policy and its implementation according to the latest GAAP requirements Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Excel and the ability to automate tasks Results-driven, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Responsibilities As a member of the Finance/Accounting team, the Senior Accountant will be reporting to the Americas Regional Controller The Senior Accountant will perform intermediate-level accounting tasks that will lead to a well-rounded accounting role Participate in month-end close and all relevant reporting as per corporate timetable for the region, including variance analysis Collaborate with Project Controllers to ensure proper accounting for project costs Ensure accurate and timely business transaction recording in the ERP system Maintain general ledger and related general accounting processes and reconciliations Provide timely accounting, reporting, and system guidance to support the organization through business changes and strategic projects Ensure SOX controls are executed timely and accurately Develop and participate in process improvement projects Support the Services business throughout the monthly cycle and prepare and review revenue recognition files for month-end close Calculate and maintain the monthly Assurance Warranty analysis Collaborate with the Services Finance team to ensure proper accounting for project costs Benefits Opportunity to work for one of the leading and fast-growing manufacturing companies within the renewable energy sector Competitive company benefits including unlimited PTO, generous 401k match, annual bonus incentive, etc Security of working for a top global manufacturing renewable company with the opportunity to grow your career J-18808-Ljbffr
