Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented energy auditor to join our team. A background in construction or construction management would align well with the role. This job will be an early hire for our startup so we hope this individual can be a valuable member to the team and continue to grow with us. This role requires client interaction, reliable transportation (driver's license), ability to multitask and manage a crew of 2-3 others. Duties Conduct thorough energy audits using BPI methodology Thorough understanding of blower door and other equipment used in the auditing process Interact with customers and communicate the work that is being done in their home Manage a crew and make sure that the work is being done correctly and efficiently Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review Manage crew scheduling and make sure the crew is arriving on time to jobs Experience (Not Required) Experience with BPI audits and BPI training preferred Familiarity with project and team management in a field/construction setting preferred Experience working in homes and interacting with homeowners is a plus Strong analytical and communication experience Construction or related experience is a plus Requirements Must be able to pass a one time drug and background screening to work with some of our partners Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability and comfortability operating in attics and crawl spaces Reliable transportation and ability to travel around the greater Atlanta area We encourage candidates who are passionate about helping the environment and delivering quality results to homeowners to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Energy Auditor.
