What you will do Role Overview: The Senior Compensation Associate will work in a global team and will be responsible for developing specialized activities to support the EDP Group operating units in the proper implementation of compensation processes, acting as an expert to manage the global compensation strategy for the US, Canada and Mexico. Main responsibilities: Contribute to the global compensation framework implementation, ensuring local adherence while promoting a transversal strategy and establishing the guidelines for the several reward topics - organizational segments definition, leveling methodologies (job families and job mapping, Korn Ferry methodology), annual base salary and variable pay strategy, other compensation components, salary review/ merit program (inc. inflation), salary band management golden rules, and the global reward calendar; Prepare the information for the annual reports of the EDP Group, considering the legal reports and the other external and relevant reports (inc. Bloomberg Index), and for internal audit/ SCIRF processes; Participate in global projects relevant to EDP Group, promoting the employer brand and contributing to One Company's goal, where the reward strategy is an enabler for attracting, retaining, and managing talent; Contribute to the annual bonus and merit programs for all the companies by preparing and consolidating the budget and the Business Units final proposals, controlling the guidelines, and validating the exercise to ensure the internal policies and equity; Contribute for the maintenance of the Job Family Matrix, guarantee the execution of the leveling exercise for the Management, Professionals, Technicians and administrative/support segments in North America, while elaborating proposals for new joiners, retention, and organizational restructuring; Manage the market data locally and ensure the benchmarks required for regular activity and specific purposes (projects, needs, others), supporting the decisions and the reward strategy; Contribute with the digitalization of the area processes, searching for optimization opportunities and focusing on continuous improvement of the internal activity in articulation with the other global teams; Works with Payroll-responsible team to ensure all compensation data is complete and accurate in both systems (UKG and SuccessFactors); Advises/collaborates with the HR Business Partners on all compensation-related issues for their respective client groups; Additional duties as required What are we looking for Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management, or a related field required; 5-7 plus years of HR experience in compensation with significant knowledge and skills in use of HRIM systems; Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred; Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products; Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred; Experience with SAP and UKG (formerly known as UltiPro) a plus; Travel: Less than 10% Behavioral Requirements: Strong organizational skills including the ability to organize and maintain a fluid administrative process; Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail; Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Payfactors, HR/Payroll applications and other tools used in decision support analysis for the HR disciplines; Good time-management skills and ability to be self-motivated; High attention to integrity, ethics, and sensitivity, particularly regarding confidential information; Strong Interpersonal and teamwork skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects underway concurrently.
