Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mechanical/electrical/electronic test equipment for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical drives, servo motors, and electronic control systems as well as mechanical systems.
- Perform electrical circuit installation, replacement, and modifications with minimal supervision.
- Complete mechanical/electrical projects, modifications, and repairs to the highest standards of quality.
- Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble both mechanical and electrical production equipment.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve equipment issues and provide guidance.
- Lead and mentor maintenance associates in troubleshooting techniques and proper repair methods.
- Develop and document maintenance procedures in areas of expertise.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs and resource availability.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts, recommending optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with the engineering department on various projects as needed.
- Follow all work instructions, safety policies, and procedures, including the use of PPE and safety equipment.
Key Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems without manuals.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pumps, and pneumatics systems.
- Advanced electrical skills, including a deep understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
- Willingness to work overtime, off-shift, and on-call as required.
- PLC knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- 4-6 years of direct hands-on experience with production equipment maintenance and repair.
- Specialized trade knowledge, equivalent to 1-3 years of training, in areas such as electrical systems or mechanical repair.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as amp meters, electrical meters, and hydraulic gauges.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve practical problems in non-standardized situations.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions) are required.
- Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, charts, and diagrams.
- Must demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and professionalism in all work performed.

- Willingness to work in a flexible schedule, including overtime and on-call hours.
