This position is in Region 2, Superfund and Emergency Management Division (SEMD), Program Support Branch (PSB), Hydrogeologic Support Section (HSS). Duties: Serve as a staff geologist in the Superfund program on a wide variety of issues including geology, hydrogeology, contaminant transport and behavior, sampling techniques, and remedial technologies. Plan and advise field activities, including sampling in all media, well drilling, surface and downhole geophysics, aquifer testing, soil gas surveys, excavation, in-situ remediation, and construction of various clean-up actions.
