As a Site Civil Engineer / Landscape Architect, you will develop work within the different facets of civil engineering related to the Renewable Energy industry and collaborate with an outstanding team of technical professionals across disciplines. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited four-year college or university or B.S. in Landscape Architecture from accredited four-year college or university. Five (5) plus years of progressive, related technical experience and/or training. New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Landscape Architect (R.L.A.) license. Passion for renewable energy projects and strong communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Ability to perform limited travel to project sites. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of land-use processes and regulations. Experience with local/state jurisdictional requirements for utility-scale, distributed generation, and behind-the-meter renewable energy applications. Experience with Planning Board presentations. GIS Skills. Ten (10) plus years of consulting engineering experience. Project and/or staff management experience. Proposal writing and business development experience.
