As the CSR, you will play an important role in providing excellent Customer Service, offering product information, setting up orders per Customer Request, and resolving emerging problems that the customer might face with Lead Time and delivery performance. Your job functions will involve both Customer contact and data setup. You will have direct contact with Sales and/or Customers to set up orders and provide Lead Times for orders based on materials and capacity. You will set up the orders in the system and create Bill of Materials (BOM). You will have direct Customer contact regarding delivery accuracy and advise if any anticipated delays. Job Responsibilities Receive and set up customer orders. Ensure orders are processed completely and accurately and in a timely manner. Create and customize BOM (bill of materials) based on design setup. Work directly with Sales to ensure all information for orders is received and accurate before orders are set up. Coordinate with Production Planners and Sales when there are changes in customer requirements. Serve as the primary order contact for Customers. Timely correspondence with customers regarding availability, delivery status, and order confirmation to support customer satisfaction. Keep customers informed of the order process and anticipated delays, if any. Create forecasts together with Sales. Help solve problems and answer questions related to orders to support a high level of Customer Service. Create or update standard work materials to drive the most efficient process of servicing our customers. Communicate and interact with all customers with a positive and friendly demeanor. 3 years’ work experience within a manufacturing company preferred. 2 years’ Call Center or Contact Center experience. Great attention to detail, ability to multitask, with strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Sensitive to customers’ needs and able to create good dialog with customers. Knowledge of ERP systems (Axapta and SAP are preferred), and Excel.
