Job Title: Associate Transaction Manager (US Offshore Wind) RWE Renewables Americas LLC To start as soon as possible, Full time, Permanent RWE Renewables Offshore, Americas Functional area: Mergers & Acquisitions Your future plans Partnering & Transactions (P&T) is the M&A and Corporate Development function of RWE Offshore. P&T serves as a strategic pillar to the business, responsible for identifying and structuring investment opportunities. P&T is the forefront function for buy-side and sell-side transactions and for strategic joint ventures. You will support the design and structuring of transactions based on a strategic mandate of the RWE Group in the field of offshore wind and/or offshore-to-X (e.g. Hydrogen) You will support the strategy and execution of transactions in the US You will assist in coordinating a diverse, multi-disciplinary transaction team and support the lead negotiator in negotiations with potential or existing partners/investors You will perform analysis and market research You will support interface management and/or coordination and collaboration with various RWE Renewables technology and support functions You will provide input to and/or lead the creation of materials for the Board of Directors and management presentations for internal/external stakeholders Your profile University degree in finance, economics, law or mergers & acquisitions; MBA, CFA or similar post-graduate degrees are a plus At least 1-2 years past experience with partnership, corporate development or transactions experience providing analysis or strategy support to a renewable energy or power industry related field Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills Initial negotiation experience of relevant contracts in the area of partnerships or M&A an advantage Enthusiasm and high motivation to work in an international and fast changing environment Strong personal ability to operate in different cultural environments rwe.com/career Apply now with just a few clicks: ad code 82022, application deadline.
