The Plant Controller, Georgia Campus will be responsible for all finance and accounting aspects of 2 plants located in Dalton and Calhoun, GA, partnering with the campus management team in successfully managing the manufacturing operations and meeting financial objectives. Key areas of focus for this role include monthly performance analysis, budget, and forecast development, lead key projects and analysis of cost reduction initiatives. Job Responsibilities Month-end closing responsibilities, including reporting and reviewing departmental variances to prior year, budget and forecast for the plant management team. Maintain standard costs for all raw materials, WIP and finished goods processes. Analyzing and reporting manufacturing cost variances. Preparing detailed monthly forecasts for the full year based upon the production drivers and key performance metrics at the plant. Managing the capital project process at facility. Preparing economic cost studies for projects concerning new or existing products, manufacturing processes, equipment, or facilities. Annually reviewing and auditing of internal control procedures (TRACE). Preparing and developing the annual plant budget, including developing standards and updating the standards and period expense budgets in SAP. Supporting the plant in generating and quantifying cost savings opportunities and supporting management with the World Class Manufacturing initiatives. Leading the coordination of all plant internal and external financial and operational audits and addressing any audit findings with plant and divisional leadership. Fixed asset control. Oversee physical inventory/ cycle counting. Responding quickly and accurately to customer requests. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 8 years of related accounting experience. 5 years of experience as assistant controller or cost accounting role in product manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to link and analyze plant operational metrics to financial performance. Comprehensive understanding of P&L and balance sheet dynamics. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to share knowledge at different levels of the company. Customer focused with strong attention to detail. Experience leading and influencing teams directly and indirectly. SAP and ERP experience is preferred. What We Offer A commitment that Safety is 1.
