Your Role Join Atlas Copco as a Sales and Business Development Manager for the Latin America territory where you will oversee the sales and business development of our engineered to order centrifugal compressors. You will work with Atlas Copco Customer Centers in Latin America, agents and directly with customers to ensure our equipment is specified and our technology is preferred for compression and expansion turbine solutions and processes. You will work to keep Atlas Copco "first in mind and first in choice" for our customers. As part of the Sales team, you will report to the Director of Sales and work with our marketing and engineering groups at multiple manufacturing sites located in USA, Germany, India, China and Korea. This is a remote position based in Houston, TX, Mexico City, Mexico, or Sao Paolo, Brazil. You will make sales for centrifugal compressors and expanders and develop sales strategies at both accounts and market levels. You will create a plan to develop a network of agents in Latin America and support them for success in the market. This includes cross-border sales support with Atlas Copco's global sales force. You will create a business plan to further develop the territory for new customers and applications, notably in the hydrogen and carbon capture emerging markets. You will organize all sales functions. You will coordinate with market segment managers for implementation of new products and application campaigns. You will develop relationships with customers, agents, and key accounts. You will demonstrate high integrity and a growth mindset. You will develop your technical competence to prepare budget quotes with support of marketing and application engineering. You will conduct commercial negotiations. You will control expenses while maximizing sales effort. You will participate in trade shows, technical forums, and conferences to represent Atlas Copco. You will use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to monitor and follow up on projects to keep forecasts (monthly and quarterly) and keep projects reporting up to date. To succeed, you will need You hold a Bachelor's of Science in an engineering discipline or have the equivalent work experience. You have 7 or more years of experience working in sales or marketing in a customized engineered machinery environment within gas and process or energy markets. You have experience in business development and managing agents in the assigned territory. You are bilingual in Spanish and English. You have the ability to manage multiple key customers and projects in a long cycle sales process. You have a good understanding of Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Renewable Energy, Chem/Petrochem, Oil/Gas, Air Separation market segments and Compressor/Expander applications in these market segments.
