Your Role Mission: We are looking for a Technical Support representative to assist technicians with troubleshooting and repair of air compressors and ancillary equipment. You will report to the Technical Support Manager TSC and work closely with Service and Marketing people in the US customer centers. Roles and Responsibilities: Offer professional and timely service support to the Customer Centers, field service engineers, and dealers about all questions related to air compressors and related equipment. Deliver daily assistance to the end-user when and where it is necessary. Continuously improve product quality by proactive failure reporting follow-up. Provide accurate and up-to-date service information covering all aspects of a compressed air installation. Provide technical training to customer centers and dealers on refrigerated air dryers. Effectively diagnose faults on customer equipment, concentrating on refrigeration circuits and controls. Understand and support Atlas Copco's quality air products. Troubleshoot and repair Compressor and Dryer controls. Train customers and Atlas Copco personnel in the general operations of their machines. Maintain test instruments to ensure they remain in good condition. Warranty Claims and Part Returns Review and process warranty claims for industrial and oil-free products. Review and process material that is returned as needed. Prepare and distribute inspection reports and other notifications for field release based on this review and analysis. Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image. Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards. Perform other duties as assigned. To succeed, you will need Skills and Experience: At least 3-5 years of working experience in a technical environment. PC literate and experienced with various software solutions. Sound knowledge of electrical/electronic controls. Good general Controller and Converter knowledge. General compressor knowledge is an advantage. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to interpret wiring diagrams. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Education: Minimum of a 4-year technical and/or mechanical engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
