Position Summary: The Payroll Analyst will play a key role in overseeing the bi-weekly payroll process. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and running bi-weekly payroll runs with utmost accuracy. The right person will be knowledgeable of local and state tax laws and stay up to date on new payroll legislation. Serving as a trusted contact, the Payroll Analyst will assist employees with questions and provide key resources. Major Job Responsibilities: Gather part-time employee hours from NetSuite and input in Payroll system Review and schedule employee reimbursements and bonuses Monitor recurring post-tax and pre-tax deductions and annual limits Manage and adjust employee garnishments as required by law Prepare and process biweekly payroll runs with utmost accuracy Investigate any changes in pay and resolve any payroll issues Schedule and lead biweekly call with the Payroll Committee Maintain comprehensive payroll records and reports Provide detailed tax reports to the Finance team and assist with HRIS billing reconciliation Promptly assist employees with payroll and tax questions Help maintain organized and accurate employee personnel files Stay up to date on state and federal payroll tax laws Manage state payroll tax accounts (withholding/unemployment/etc.) Assist with year-end compensation review process Draft accurate award letters for all compensation adjustments Support with employee onboarding and I-9 verifications Assist with year-end payroll processing activities and filings Prepare and process off-cycle and correction pay runs as required Assist with other HR related projects as needed Position Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent relevant work experience 2 years of experience in payroll administration and processing Understanding of local and state tax laws Comfortable working in Excel and HRIS platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail Highly ethical with the ability to keep information confidential J-18808-Ljbffr
