Hybrid with majority of work completed at McConnell AFB Pay Range is $75,000 to $100,000 DOE Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, FSA, Other Supplemental insurances available. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for supporting site assessments, remedial investigations, long-term monitoring, land use control inspections. Oversee the maintenance of treatment systems and provide recommendations on how to improve operational uptime. Manage investigation derived waste, sampling of groundwater, soil, sediment and surface water, hydrogeologic analysis, and contaminant fate-and-transport analysis. Work with multiple clients and contractors in both the commercial and government sector. Oversee well drilling operations, monitoring well installations, log soil borings, collect field samples, prepare data quality reports, and communicate with field personnel to achieve mobilization goals. Prepare reports including but not limited to UFP-QAPPs, PMPs, QCPs, AAP/SSHPs, Remedial Investigation Reports, Long Term Monitoring Reports and Remedial Action Operation Reports. Qualifications Travel may be required up to 15%. Majority of the work will occur at McConnell AFB. 3 - 10 years of experience preferably in the environmental restoration field. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology or other Environmental related field. Professional certification preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 40-hr HAZWOPER trained with updated 8-hr annual refreshers preferred. Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Other certifications/licenses are a plus. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good problem-solving skills and able to work well independently. Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access). GIS/GPS experience is a plus. May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements. If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
