Additional Responsibilities Supports the delivery of individual projects, focusing on quality objectives. Supports the coordination of technical design disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and process automation on pharmaceutical industry projects. Coordinates resources to achieve project goals. Interacts with clients on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships. Develops working knowledge of project scope and applies knowledge to project activities. Coordinates review and approval from the Project Executive and/or Director of Operations and communicates this information to the project team. Helps with the development and maintenance of written project scopes of work and communication of this information to the project team. Develops a thorough understanding of contractually required quality in design and construction and supports quality assurance for the project. Monitors design content and quality and coordinates design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget. Assists with the procurement and coordination of all required project resources, including intradivisional, interdivisional, and extra corporate. Supports the Project Manager in the preparation of subcontracts, purchase orders, change control documentation, and related financial documentation. Works with Document Control to ensure that all project documents are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements. Supports the Project Manager in ensuring compliance of project activities with legal and regulatory requirements. Construction or manufacturing experience will be considered if related to design. Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer-aided drafting. General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in specific discipline-related areas (Mechanical, Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, or Process). Preferred Qualifications Fundamentals of Engineering (FE {formerly known as EIT}) exam completion or Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Travel duration, if any, is based on project complexity and location. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research or other "non-administrative" areas.
