This role involves the maintenance and repair of critical machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and aluminum extrusion production machines. Required Education/Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Associate degree in Electrical, PLCs, Hydraulics, or Pneumatics preferred. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Expertise in using maintenance tools, mechanical equipment, and electrical testing devices. Ability to follow detailed instructions with precision. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work independently. Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable with a willingness to learn. Job Responsibilities: Conduct preventive maintenance on press lines, casting equipment, packing systems, and paint systems. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems. Replace defective parts and carry out necessary repairs. Maintain building, grounds, and utility systems. Assist with equipment enhancements, replacements, and upgrades. Obtain and maintain a Mobile Equipment license (e.g., Forklift, Scissor Lift). Enter and manage work orders for identified issues or deficiencies. Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation. Ensure the maintenance shop is clean and well-organized. Demonstrate a positive attitude and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Stay updated on advancements in PLC/Electrical systems, Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems, Combustion systems, Motors & Drives, Crane/Mobile equipment systems, and Electrostatic painting systems.
